Mold vs. Mildew

Mildew is classified as a surface fungus. You can quickly identify mildew as a patch of grew or even white fungus that resides on the surface of an exceptionally moist surface. In most cases, mildew can be easily treated with the help of a store-bought cleaner and a scrubbing brush. Mold, however, is much more dangerous and much more challenging to get rid of. Mold commonly comes in the form of black or green fungi. It is often the result of a more significant infestation.
